Someone wanted to give away their 3-year-old dog. I have the dog now. I noticed right away that the dog will sit and start involuntarily "humping" for lack of a better word. Is this a sexual thing, some bizarre behavior issue or possibly a seizure issue? She does not do this to other dogs, only when she sits, although not every time she sits. I asked my vet and was told it was behavioral. Any thoughts? Can this behavior be changed? If so, how? Of note, the dog is 10 to 15 lbs. overweight.
