Is it okay to use Allegra (fexofenadine) in my itchy dog?

I would prefer that you not use fexofenadine in your dog. There are so many other options with proven efficacy. This drug has not been studied adequately in dogs, the most effective dose is unknown and so dosing protocols are all over the board.
