  My own 8 yr FS pug had a 4mm mast cell tumor I am removing tomorrow. She had a smaller one two years ago removed with good margins and a prognostic panel came back good. Now more labs run the prognostic panels - does matter which lab runs it? I'm thinking of using Idexx and I know Michigan state was one that used to do almost all of these.

  I always use Michigan State as I know their technique and quality are first rate. We have done all of our studies with them and I have been pleased with their follow through as well as turn-around time.

  Great - so do you have them do the regular histopathology as well or do you get that done elsewhere?
