This question was submitted during the webinar titled: PU - What's That? Golden Retriever Pigmentary Uveitis:
Do you see a benefit to using Diclofenac 0.1% or Ketorolac 0.5% drops in a 4.8 year old male Golden diagnosed with a unilateral ciliary body uveal cyst but not PU?
Dr. Wendy Townsend, DVM, MS, DACVO responded:
I typically use the topical NSAIDs with multiple cysts. That being said the drops are very safe, so there would be little risk in using them. If there’s a heavy history of PU or multiple cysts in the pedigree then using topical diclofenac or ketorolac might be of benefit.
