Can skin issues which are longstanding and do not clear up with the normal dermatology remedies of allergies and allergy vaccines indicate a predisposition to cancer based on a compromised immune system? I am referring to skin issues on feet, legs, torso, elbows, and eventually around the mouth and eyes often associated with NME?
We do think that chronic inflammation in the skin might be a risk factor for some cancers, particularly mast cell tumors. Other cancers have not been associated with this, although some of the new allergy therapies might contribute to cancer risk.
