The pain of arthritis (osteoarthritis or OA) adversely impacts the lives of dogs and cats as well as the activities we can share in with them. A multimodal approach to therapy typically offers the best outcome for affected patients. The focus of this presentation is on arthritis care and pain management in practice, leveraging the veterinary team in the care of patients, and the economics of providing the various modalities in the general practice setting.
