Brief Bio (include professional interests, hobbies, etc.):
I have worked in the field of Veterinary medicine for 18 years, 16 as a LVT. I worked as an assistant during my undergraduate days coming home on the weekends and working. I grew up loving all animals, mammals, insects, reptiles, you name it. I attended vet school for a year, and decided to give it up due to family health. But I do not regret it one bit. The past 3 years I have worked in Critical care, it is rewarding when the patients get to go home with a full recovery. I had previously worked as a LVT in ER for almost 9 years. It was a great experience. Before then I worked at a small animal practice for 10 years (over lapping with the ER for 3 of those years). I love to travel the globe and enjoy flower gardening. I had 2 cats and 1 dog, but due to medical issues they are no longer with me. I am currently with out any pets, but love to spend time with my furry patients.
