Yosemite Bark is owned and operated by Alice (Ali) Imel. Ali is a resident of Yosemite Lakes Park and employed as a Registered Veterinary Technician at Fresno Veterinary Specialty Emergency Center where she is the behavior coordinator, assistant to Dr. Stepita, DVM (Veterinary Behaviorist) and holds weekly dog training classes.
Ali received her Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2009 from San Joaquin Valley College where she graduated with honors.
In 2012, she decided to shift her focus into animal behavior and became a certified dog trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Program.
Ali has always had a love for dogs and has spent the last ten years participating in and training dogs for competitive performance sports including flyball, dock diving, and most recently barn hunt.
Ali currently has 3 Jack Russell Terriers, 1 Smooth Fox Terrier, a gray tabby cat and 2 chickens.
