Brief Bio (include professional interests, hobbies, etc.):
Jamie has been working in veterinary hospitals since high school and has held a variety of positions. She has been managing since 2000 and has managed a specialty practice in Florida and both large and small general practice in Arizona and Denver respectively. A CVPM since 2008, Jamie spends her time working as a practice manager in the Denver metro area, mentoring future CVPMs through the VHMA mentorship program, and most recently lecturing on topics in practice management. Jamie has presented at small roundtable veterinary business groups and is on the AAHA leadership committee for practice management. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Arizona and a certificate in Veterinary Practice Management from St. Petersburg College.
