Brief Bio (include professional interests, hobbies, etc.):
Upon graduation, I worked in a west Omaha small animal exclusive practice while performing equine duties independently and as relief work. After two years, I moved on to emergency medicine full time, and part time shelter work. Most currently, I have finally reduced my work load to a general mixed animal practice, occasional relief emergency work and a focus on family and farm. Along with four kids, five years old and under, we raise Pygmy hogs, poultry, equines, highland and mini cattle, as well as the hubby's herd of Angus. I have experience with llamas and alpacas and plan on adding more small ruminants to both my practice and home production.
Our four kids, include a set of twins, are our reason for being and we enjoy playing and learning as a family. We enjoy all sports, hiking, crop farming-sometime enjoyable- and gardening. We love camping and all but the husband love horseback riding and horse camping.
Professional associations and interests: emergency and critical care, small ruminants, pain management, shelter medicine, poultry, equine, swine, and beef herd management.
