Lifelong horse owner and enthusiast. Equine veterinarian for 15 years then added companion animals and some wildlife into the mix. Interests are preventive medicine, lameness, pain management, farriery, dermatology, adjunctive treatments. Married to equine exclusive veterinarian who specializes in dentistry. Own several horses, a burro, three tortoises and three Jack Russell Terriers. Avid outdoors-woman who loves, hiking, climbing, biking & horseback riding, rockhounding, astronomy, birding, wildlife viewing, photography, reading and more! Passionate about animal care/guardianship, knowledge, politics, government, honesty, conservation and objectivity in education and mentorship.
