In this segment we will learn about non-medical therapies for treating degenerative mitral valve disease in dogs.
Our presenters will help us to understand the utility of left atrial decompression (LAD) and transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) in managing affected dogs and factors that influence patient selection for these procedures. We will then discuss the option of open-heart surgery and patient selection for open-heart mitral valve repair.
