This session will focus on the management of degenerative mitral valve disease in dogs. Drs. Sleeper and Adin will go through treatment recommendations for each of the heart disease stages, focusing on evidence-based medicine while providing practice pointers and advice for when standard recommended treatments fail. In a conversation style session, they will address questions that come up when treating dogs with mitral valve disease and provide their viewpoint on managing the variety of clinical scenarios that can arise with this common disease in dogs.
