In the challenging world of veterinary medicine, adverse medical events are an unfortunate reality. But what if we could transform these difficult moments into opportunities for growth, improved patient care, and a more resilient team?
The focus of this presentation and workshop is to create an understanding of the potential impacts of adverse medical events on individuals, and to provide insights into how hospital teams can create a safe environment and best support those involved. Through expert-led training and
small group discussion, workshop participants will learn how to:

• Manage the emotional aftermath of adverse events
• Transform errors into opportunities for systemic improvement

This is a 2 hour workshop that will be held virtually (online).
