Companion Animal Cancer Summit - Session I: What is 'cancer' and what causes it?

CE Event Information

  • Description:
Cancer is a term that is often shrouded in uncertainty and fear, but gaining a clear understanding of what it is can make a significant difference in how we approach and manage the disease

In this first session of an 8 part series on the topic of companion animal cancer we will create an understanding of what cancer is, and how we should think about cancer and its possible causes.

A portion of this session will focus on what we know regarding environmental risks for lymphoma and bladder cancer in dogs. Dr. Lauren Trepanier - a veterinary internal medicine specialist and board certified veterinary clinical pharmacologist - will present new data on environmental exposures and the risks for these two cancers in dogs. She will provide the best evidence to date on possible environmental prevention measures for both lymphoma and bladder cancer in dogs.

Registration is FREE for VetVine Premium Membership subscribers.
Paid registration for one session automatically provides access to all 8 sessions in this series.
