In my blog post this week on new pet gadgets, I mentioned a pet product (Petcube) that helps pet owners remotely stay connected to their pets through an app. This is a pretty cool gadget!
It has a camera, is voice-enabled, and also has a built-in laser pointer for play. We surveyed our panel of experts about their thoughts on this gadget, and had these comments from Dr. Christensen regarding things that pet owners should keep in mind if they are going to use this type of gadget or engage in laser toy play with dogs or cats:
