My 13 year old golden retriever has neuropathy in his hind legs, especially in his left hind leg since he recently slipped in some mud and couldn't get up. His sister has the same back leg weakness so I assume it is genetic. How can I best address his needs?

I cannot answer this without more information or examination. Furthermore, neuropathy is different than joint health. I would recommend a consultation with a veterinary neurologist.
