  If the retrospective study conclusions are valid, what are the relative risks of delaying sterilization against the risks of pyometra, mammary cancer and prostate disease/testicular cancer?

  Great question and I don't know if the answer is known. The charts in the scond PLoS article show the relative risks of the various types of diseases, so one could calculate the RR of each condition and see which ones a particular dog is most likely to encounter.
