Are physiotherapy exercises recommended for dogs with SRMA during and after recovery?

There have been no studies looking at the use of physiotherapy for SRMA. Because clinical signs often resolve quickly with steroid treatment, it is unlikely to aid in the recovery. However, physiotherapy could potentially be helpful in maintaining muscle mass and strength in dogs that experience muscle wasting associated with chronic steroid use.
