Protein-losing Enteropathy in Dogs

Protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) is a serious condition in which affected dogs lose abnormal amounts of protein from their gastrointestinal (GI) tract. PLE can be caused by a number of different gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, and approximately 20% of dogs with chronic GI disease go on to develop PLE. The condition is an important cause of morbidity and mortality - only ~50% of dogs with PLE survive.

Join us in our upcoming program in which we will hear from Dr. Sara Jablonski - a veterinary internal medicine specialist and PLE researcher at Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jablonski will be sharing her expertise and insights into what we know regarding the causes, signs and symptoms, important clinical parameters, and treatments to help dogs with PLE live their best lives.
