    It's been well-established that therapeutic grade essential oils have biological effects due to their chemical constituents.

    In this segment veterinary aromatherapy expert - Dr. Nancy Brandt - discusses how essential oils can be incorporated in the management of the cancer patient. Dr. Brandt discusses how essential oils can be integrated with conventional cancer therapy (chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy protocols) and provides examples of where an integrative approach serves as a better option for others.

    Discussion includes some of the routes of administration, as well as essential oils she includes in treating patients with various types of cancer including lymphoma, osteosarcoma, anal gland adenocarcinoma, and mammary gland carcinoma.
