By nature, most veterinary care providers are "givers" - often ignoring their own needs and focusing on the needs of others first.  Unhealthy boundaries occur when we do not set limits on ourselves and others, and they are a common cause of anxiety, fatigue, and burnout.

Have you ever provided your cell phone number or personal email address to a client?  Do you have a problem saying "no" when asked to pick up extra shifts for co-workers? Have you ever over shared personal information with a client or co-worker? If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, over time these continued actions could take a toll on your well being.

In this week's byte of Wellness Wisdom, learn more about unhealthy boundaries and how to build better ones.
