I have a 10.5 year old Great Dane that has osteosarcoma on her ribs (mass approx 5.5"x 4") and several mast cell tumors. Will ellagic acid help her? This is my first Dane with cancer; what can I expect? Thank you!
The osteosarcoma is a very aggressive tumor. Surgery or radiation therapy for the primary mass are best with chemotherapy to control the systemic spread. Usually these tumors do not respond well to less aggressive therapy, I am sorry.
